Set in rolling farmland owned by the family for three generations, this gorgeous new dry-hire venue in north Suffolk near the Waveney valley, gives you a blank canvas for your wedding celebration, party or event.
The Brief
The Sandcroft Barns needed some additional outdoor toilets for their partygoers, but above all they had to be stylish and fit in with the beautful barns aesthetic. To sit on the old cattle and chicken shed site we built a beautiful ladies, gents and accessible block fit for the highest standards. It needed to be clad in black Canexel cladding to compliment the existing traditional black finished barns, with black UPVC doors and windows and black outdoor lights. The block needed to fit in seamlessly with the rest of the venue.
The Solution
The portable toilet block we created for The Sandcroft Barns is a unique one. Their brief was a need for separate ladies and gents, (3 cubicles in the ladies and 1 toilet pus 2 urinals in the gents) with a wheelchair accessible toilet too, meanwhile they needed an additional staff toilet + shower to the rear hidden from view to venue guests. Fitting all of this onto the space available meant we reconfigured our traditional layout; and it worked perfectly! The ladies and gents are finished with our vanity sink and mirrors, chrome taps and baby changing units in both sides. The accessible toilet is full Doc-M pack, and the staff shower has a compact shower and sink to really make the most of the space.
In addition Sandcroft have gone on to build accessible decking around the block therefore making access effortless. Likewise the decking is all finished in black to really completment their new facilities.
